Q. What is
an Aroon Indicator? A..
The "Aroon" indicator, most commonly used in stock analysis, is used to determine
if a price is moving in a trend or sideways, as well as the strength of the trend.
In GPA for Coins we use both a monthly and a quarterly Aroon indicator. The resulting
Aroon Oscillator is plotted, with the positive value indicating an upward trend
(or coming trend), and the negative values indicating a downward trend. The higher
the absolute value of an oscillator, the stronger the indication of a trend.
